Bulgaria (Република България, Republika Bulgaria) is a country in Southeast Europe. The Danube runs along the northern edge forming the border with Romania. To the west lie Serbia and the Republic of Macedonia, with Greece and Turkey to the south. The eastern border is made up of the Black Sea coastline. The capital of Bulgaria is Sofia (София).
