The Palácio da Vila, also known as the Royal Palace or the National Palace of Sintra is located in República Square in the historic center of Sintra, Portugal. The two large chimneys of the kitchen of the Palace constitute its brand image and dominates the landscape around the historic center of the town of Sintra.
It began as a Moorish palace, which along several times was added to the initial structure, several new bodies. One of the most important examples of architecture in Portugal Royal one, linked to the most significant periods of history of Portugal, and, therefore, classified as a National Monument.
