Uvala Ježinac (Jezinac bay and beach) lies on the souther edge of the Marjan Hill to the east of Split Harbour and the Old Town of Split. The beach is popular with locals, but not so much visited by tourists as it is a distance from the main tourist attractions and city centre.

At Uvala Ježinac visitors will find a couple of cafes providing refreshments, bar, amenities and car park. The two main bays are divided by a small rocky headland.

Just to the east is Uvala Zvoncac cove, which has swimming but no beach. Just above the beach are Meštrović Gallery and the Kaštelet Meštrović, a chapel in which is now an art gallery. Both of these are tourist attractions.

Flight: Split International Airport found 20km west of Split, transfer by either taxi or bus.
Ferry: Regular ferries from Dubrovnik, Korcula, Mljet, Pescara, Rijeka, Vis, Hvar, Spetare (Brač), Stari Grad, Drvenik and Ancona in Italy.
Road: Split lies on the 8 coastal road, about 30km north of Omiš and 60km north of Makarska. It is 150km south of Zadar.
