The SLYC is a popular and recently refurbished youth and community centre in central Camden, London. Within it is a sports hall marked out for a number of different actives and sports. This is widely used by a number of different groups from the community for all kinds of activities from football, basketball, badminton and yoga.
The centre also contains a very popular community gym, a computer centre, DJ / music room, youth juice bar and recreation room, industrial kitchen, dance studio and versatile space used for children's work and other events.
Some of these spaces are available for private hire at the weekend. The SLYC is a charity, and all funds raised are ploughed back into both the centre and activities for the local community.
