Wellington Square lies close to the main of Hastings. On the square are the Wellington Centre, Wellington Square Medical Centre and Wellington Square Baptist Church. The square is also surrounded by fine residential buildings which have been home to some of Hastings' most famous and celebrated residents. At the centre of the square is a garden, popular with tourists and locals alike in the summer.

Further west along the shoreline and past Hastings Pier is Wellington Square, which is surrounded by some of the finest Victorian buildings in Hastings.
