Nederrijn

The Nederrijn is a branch of the Lower Rhine. As the River Rhine flows through the Netherlands towards the sea it splits at Rijnwaarden into the Waal and the Nederrijn. The Nederrijn is the northern branch which flows through Arnhem and past Wageningen to Wijk bij Duurstede where it becomes the River Lek. The southern part flows through Utrecht and meets the sea just west of Rotterdam.

Hotel de Wageningsche Berg

Built on Wageningsche Berg, a small hill in Wageningen, the Hotel de Wageningsche Berg has fantastic views over the Nederrijn. The hotel boasts 3 restaurants and conference facilities, but the rooms are currently in need of refurbishment.
