Lower Blaen-y-Glyn consists of a good-sized car park and small picnic area situated within the trees. There is a forest trail which runs between Upper and Lower Blaen-y-Glyn, passing the waterfalls on the way. Close scenery is Talybond reservoir.

Blaen-Y-Glyn is part of the Talybont Forest, near Talybont-on-Usk and south of Talybont Reservoir between the settlements of Abercynafon and Torpantau in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales.
Blaen-y-Glyn - Walking
Blaen-y-Glyn has a popular walking trail which also takes in Caerfanell Falls, Nant Bwrefwr, Torpantau Falls. The walks starts near the northern end of Pentwyn Reservoir in the Taf Fechan Forest and continue along the banks of Nant Bwrefwr stream with detours to the various waterfalls. Blaen-y-Glyn waterfall is sometimes called 'Caerfanell Falls', which can be confusing.The largest, and most dramatic waterfalls around here are Torpantau Falls, which are also the hardest to get to. These falls are seasonal, tumbling down the steep scarp in a series of cascade after rains.

Car: The car park is near the pass between Abercynafon and Torpantau, about 10km from Talybont-on-Usk and 11km north of Cefn-Coed-y-Cymmer.
