The Tower Bellanda, located on the village of Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes, keeps the baie des Anges, on the south of the park of the château. Medieval defence installed on an ancient Acropolis, it is was transformed from 1825 into simple belvedere. Berlioz would have composed there in 1831 the opening of the king Lear.
