Cala Mitjana is on the south coast of Menorca just 1km east of Cala Santa Galdana. It is not developed and has no hotels, apartments or beach resorts. The amenities on this beach are basic. There are no pedalos, sun beds, bars or other amenities, so you have to bring in what you want to eat or drink.The beach of Cala Mitjana is fairly large and the cove is beautiful. One of the favorite pass times here is to jump off the cliffs into the clear waters. In all, Cala Mitjana makes for a welcome break from the bustle of other developed beach resorts on Menorca. The car park is about 5minutes walk from the beach.
The easisest way to drive to Cala Mitjana is to take the PM-714 from Ferreries towards Cala de Santa Galdana. Less than 1km from Cala Santa Galdana a road leads off to the left for Cala Mitjana. If you are driving from Cuidadela then it is possible to drive through Sant Joan Gran and then along some country lanes to Cala Santa Galanda, however, this may take longer than driving down the main road to Farreries.
