The Bowling Green Castle of Stirling Castle is enclosed by the Royal Palace and the Front Parapet. It is accessed either by steps from the Front Parapet or through a gate near the Castle Forework. Below the Front Parapet is the Castle Exhibition which shows some of the history, developments and artifacts found at the castle.
This is one of two gardens within the castle, the other is the Douglas Garden which lies behind the Chapel Royal next to the Inner Close.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
The route to Stirling Castle is marked along back streets ascending through the Old Town to the Esplanade in Stirling. Parking available at the end of the Esplanade. Stirling Castle is managed by Historic Scotland and entrance is ticketed.
