Meelup Beach is one of the best kept secrets on Cape Naturaliste, east of Eagle Bay and west of Castle Rock and Dunsborough in Western Australia. The beach has crystal clear water with beautiful scenery, bbq picnic area, fantastic swimming area and a toilet block. The name 'Meelup' is Aboriginal and means 'Place Of The Moon Rising', giving a hint of one of the natural attractions of the beach. Meelup beach faces East and at night at the right time of year it provides a fantastic spectacle of the full moon rising over the Indian Ocean.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
