Starting at Spagio Salia, near to Vignavecca, Palu and Santa Teresa, this tour covers some of the beaches, resorts and towns of Sardinia in the Mediterranean Sea. The main focus of this tour is given to the towns of Oristano on the West coast, Vilasimus in the South and Santa Teresa in the North. Down on the coast are some lovely seaside towns, which have changed from fishing ports to tourism for their main income. Sardinia is becoming more popular as a tourist resort, having beautiful countryside, and a mild climate that you would expect for a Mediterranean island.
Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean. The geography of the island is varied, with a series of mountainous massifs, hills and narrow highlands. Interspersed along the Sardinian coastline are a number of beautiful beaches and countless small inlets. The rest of the coast is jagged and rocky. The area around Costa Smeralda is famous for it’s beautiful landscape, and is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination.
