This panorama was taken when driving along the Yango Creek Road near to Laguna in the Hunter Valley. It was a dirt track, that passed through numerous fords over Ygona Creek. I had been told it would be more scenic than driving along the main road. Very true.

Yango Creek Road winds it's way along Yagona Creek at the bottom of a valley close to Laguna. This is an 'off-the-beaten-track' dirt track that winds through part of the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Australia.

The scenery is beautiful, but care must be taken when crossing the fords, which can be quite deep after rains.

Laguna is about 120km north of Sydney. Yango Creek Drive loops behind Laguna on the Great North Road. Entrances to Yango Creek are at Wollombi and between Laguna and Yallambie in the Hunter Valley.
